1. The Chain of Communication is as follows: (1) Player Meeting with Head Coach (2) Parent Meeting with Player and Coach (3) Parent meeting with Player and Director
2. Viewing practices: Parents are asked to stay in areas designated for viewing.
3. Attending games: all spectators are asked to avoid berating referees; players/parents will need to communicate well in advance concerning any missed practices or conflicts.
4. Attendance: Attendance is required. Since training leads to performance and game play is solely up to the discretion of the head coach, playing time may be affected by poor attendance.
5. Multi-Team Athletes: Will be handled on an individual case basis. However, athletes on NPY teams will be expected to attend all practices unless cleared by the head coach.
6. Negativity and Poor Sportsmanship: All staff, players, and spectators will avoid harsh criticism, extreme negativity, and displays of poor sportsmanship throughout the process.
7. Event Behavior: Players will support other NPY teams participating at an event; the hope is that no player will leave until the entire team is dismissed after the last game or officiating duty.
8. Travel Behavior: We expect all players will avoid any conduct that is illegal or immoral; players and families are encouraged to attend and support all team meetings and functions; players will heed to appropriate public behavior. Any deviation from the above will necessitate parent contact and possible dismissal from the event.
9. Please note that in the case of a player being dismissed for any of the above violations, all North Point Youth issued gear needs to be turned in.
